PRIVACY POLICY – ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES FOR RESIDENTS OF TURKEY

The following section applies to you if you are a data subject located in the Republic of Turkey.

1) Data Collection and Processing

Your personal data will be processed specifically in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Turkey (KVKK No. 6698).

The categories of personal data we collect and the sources of that data are described in the ‘DATA WE COLLECT’ section of the global privacy policy.

Our purposes for collecting your personal data are described in the ‘WHY WE COLLECT YOUR DATA’ section of the global privacy policy.

In addition to the above, your personal data will be automatically collected and processed in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (“KVKK”) based on the following legal grounds:

  • Article 5/2 (c)
  • Article 5/1

2) Your Rights

As a data subject receiving services from the Republic of Turkey in relation to your data that we hold in our personal information, you have the following legal rights set out in Article 11 of the DPL. To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, you may contact the data controller:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • Request information on whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether this data is used in accordance with the specified purpose,
  • To know to which third parties your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction of missing or incorrect data, if any,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions specified in Article 7 of the DPL,
  • Request that your personal data, the transactions under (e) and (f) be reported to third parties to whom your personal data are transferred,
  • Object to the analysis of data processed only through automated systems to the detriment of the person,
  • To demand compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of your personal data.
